Compared to smartphones, MP3 players are smaller, lighter, cheaper and have longer battery life. So many people still use their MP3 player to listen to songs although they have smartphones with built-in music player. However, it's not easy to listen to streaming music services such as Spotify with ordinary mp3 player.
Mighty is the only music player that you can sync Spotify songs to. It can hold more than 1,000 tracks offline for playback anywhere. Sync Spotify songs to Mighty with your phone, then clip it to your shirt and go anywhere you want. You can enjoy the synced Spotify music without your phone and internet connection. However, Mighty only works with Spotify premium and it will cost you $85.
Although Premium users can download Spotify songs for offline listening, they can't transfer the songs to MP3 player since they are in DRM protected Ogg Vorbis format. Songs from the Spotify catalogue can only be played on devices that can install the Spotify application, such as Windows & Mac computers, or smartphones, tablets, TVs and game consoles.
However, if you can remove Spotify DRM and convert Spotify Ogg Vorbis songs to MP3, you can then transfer Spotify music to your MP3 player and enjoy them when you are working out, running or commuting, etc.
